Ushering into the hardwoods in 2018 as a 20-year-old rookie, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum pulled off one of the most head-turning poster dunks over NBA statesman LeBron James.
It was Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals on May 28th, 2018 where the Cleveland Cavaliers were facing it off against the Boston Celtics. This was the ultimate opportunity for Tatum to earn his stripes on the court, throwing one of the dirtiest one-hand slams over James, which to no one’s disbelief was the start of the now 24-year-old’s illustrious basketball career.
Ultimately, LeBron led the Cavaliers to a victory win that season, but Tatum had a pretty impressive season, averaging 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists within a 19-game play span.
