Patta x Nike Air Max 90 Waves ‘Black/Particle Grey’ Set to Make Waves This Summer

Amsterdam’s own Patta is back with Nike for another stylish chapter in their ongoing Air Max saga.

After stirring the sneaker world with the ‘Sapphire’ and ‘Cyber' colourways, the powerhouse duo now returns with a stealthier, more refined look: the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 Waves ‘Black/Particle Grey’.

Design Details:

At first glance, this latest iteration might read as a standard Air Max 90, but don’t be fooled, this is anything but ordinary. Patta’s signature wavy mudguard design makes its return, subtly incorporated in rich black perforated leather that wraps around the base. Paired with a muted ‘particle grey’ mesh on the toebox and collar, this colourway strikes a perfect balance between understated and eye-catching.

The devil’s in the details. Cream laces give the shoe a vintage twist, while a crisp white Swoosh brings contrast and attitude. Lenticular co-branded logos near the collar shift as you move, adding an extra layer of flair that’s pure Patta. 

A black-and-white midsole and a gum-and-black rubber outsole round off the look, ensuring the sneaker’s profile is as clean as its colourway.

While originally teased alongside official Nike imagery for the upcoming apparel line, this ‘Black/Particle Grey’ pair has already been spotted on-foot, and it’s generating buzz.

The sneaker is expected to drop in Summer 2025, but with Nike’s seasonal shift happening on July 1st, there’s a chance this drop might sneak into early Fall. Either way, it’s dropping soon and will retail for $155 in men’s sizing.
