Top Air Max Collabs of All Time

From friends and family releases to a range of sought-after sneakers that you wished you got your hands on, buckle up yourself for the ride as there is plenty of heat coming your way.

1. Air Max 1 x Parra ( 2018 F&F release)

Air Max 1 x Parra F&F release

We kick off this lineup with a lauded Friends & Family release dating back to 2018 where the Beaverton brand teamed up with Dutch-born artist Parra on a swooshless edition of the Air Max 1s.

Replacing the signature Swoosh branding with a cloud motif and we ain’t mad about it! Colourful hues were cladded throughout the joints to provide an all-new carnivalesque vibe to Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 icon. Pairing its muse with the signature AM1 cushioning in the midsole for a cloud-like completion. There’s no doubt that this silhouette is true sneaker gold.

2. Corteiz x Air Max 95 ‘Gutta Green’ (2023)

Corteiz x Air Max 95 'Gutta Green'

Corteiz rules the world … and our lineup. 2023 saw the London-based streetwear brand take its inner-city credibility to the next level when Nike linked up with the label to launch their 3-piece exclusive Air Max 95 collection.

But really and truly if we had to pick one, it's gotta be the ‘Gutta Green’ colourway, due to the fact it was the first colourway to land on our shelves and resale sites. The grill-like mesh design gets the camo upgrade with layers of ‘Khaki Green’ leather, accompanied by lighter green hues up top. Nike heel branding is gilded in a yellow hue, matching the Corteiz branding hallmarked across the mudguards and tongue - a true masterpiece if we say so ourselves.

3. Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97 (2018)

When it comes to whacky and wonderful sneaker collaborations, Nike certainly hit the ground running when they enlisted Sean Wotherspoon to work on the ultimate crossover silhouette. This icon featured the upper of the Air Max ‘97 infused with the Air Max 1 midsole and was limited to around 50,000 pairs - did you manage to cop a pair?

4. Nike Air Max 90 x Off-White ‘Black’ (2019)

What was you doing on January 17th 2019, precisely around 10 am? Well, we were eager to cop the Nike Air Max 90 x Off-White ‘Black’ because - let’s be real - anything Virgil touched, turned to gold. Let’s recast your minds back to this true beauty.

Virgil Abloh's genius lies in the deconstructed design, pairing a primarily black palette with striking white Swoosh branding. The mix of suede and mesh panelling elevates the texture game, while visible stitching and pops of bright yellow and orange accents inject vibrancy. The signature Off-White™ hangtag rounds out this sneaker's distinctive look.

5. Nike Air Max 1 x Atmos B ‘Safari’ (2002)

Nike Air Max 1 x Atmos B ‘Safari’ (2002)

OG Air Fans are punching the air right now because of course - the Nike Air Max 1 x Atmos B ‘Safari had to make a debut on our lineup. This holy grail wasn’t just a sneaker; it was a safari for your feet, minus the actual wildlife.

Birthed from the creative partnership between Nike and Atmos for the Air Max 1's 15th anniversary, this sneaker blends Tinker Hatfield's wild '87 Air Safari vibes with a touch of inner-city jungle and we were going wild ( punt intended). The drop was so good that it had a re-release in 2016 featuring a hairy suede toe box and an icy outsole, cementing its status as an icon in the sneaker world.
