Great pairs come with great responsibility, and our women always show up.

This International Women’s Month, we’re celebrating and spotlighting some of the most influential women in sneaker and fashion culture.
To kick off our Her Pair, Her Power series, we sit down with Connecticut-based tastemaker Acacia. A fashion buyer by day and a master of effortlessly piecing together outfits that express her authentic self, Acacia brings her own perspective to the culture.
This week, we follow her story to find out what it’s really like to be in her sneakers.

Crep: Hey Acacia, thanks for joining our hot seat this week. How’s 2026 been for you so far?
Acacia: So far, 2026 has been wonderful. I've kicked off the New Year by embracing the small joys of life and travelling around the world.
C: For people who are unfamiliar with you and your work, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
A: My passion for fashion is absolutely authentic. Professionally, I'm a fashion buyer, and I channel my creativity as a content creator through my pages, Left Hand Glam and Lace Up In Style. To me, fashion is the most exciting form of self-expression, and I'm all about having fun with it. I'm here to inspire and empower others to embrace their unique style journeys through fashion.

C: A fashion stylist, blogger and a true love for sneakers, where did this journey all start for you?
A: My journey began at the age of three. According to my grandmother, she bought me a sweater featuring a picture of a cat, and I flat-out refused to wear it, lol! From childhood, my parents have always encouraged me to express myself through fashion, allowing me to do my own thing and supporting my creativity. Those early experiences planted a seed that blossomed into my unique sense of personal style and led to the career I have today.
C: You also run your own sneaker dedicated page, @laceupinstyle. What was the motivation behind starting this?
A: I wanted to create a page dedicated to my love for sneakers and to showcase how I style the pairs in my collection.
C: What is your favourite sneaker silhouette to style and why?
A: My favourite sneaker silhouette is the Nike Dunk. I find them incredibly versatile, as they can be dressed up or down. You can style them with almost anything, from a T-shirt and jeans to suits or even a ball gown.
C: Talk us through how you’d also style your chosen silhouette?
A: My mood greatly influences how I style my look each day and how I want my outfit to be perceived by the world. When in doubt, I go for my go-to ensemble: a pair of Dunk Lows, a cute graphic tee, distressed denim jeans, my favourite bomber or moto jacket, and a stylish pair of shades. To complete the look, I always include my must-have accessories: layered necklaces, a stack of bracelets, and some rings. I’m a true maximalist at heart.
C: At Crep, we always want to champion and celebrate our female audience, as what she wears on her feet is always a statement. What does International Women’s Month mean to you?
A: I find International Women's Month to be empowering and inspirational; it motivates me to pursue my goals in life and never give up.
C: What change would you like to see in the fashion/sneaker industry in the next 5 years?
A: I would love to see the sneaker industry pave the way for more women to take on leadership positions, unlocking opportunities and redefining the game.
C: Are there any exciting projects you’re working on in 2026 that you can share with us?
A: I'm involved in some truly exciting projects slated for this year. Stay tuned!
C: Thanks, Acacia, it’s been great to find out more about your creative talent. Are there any words of encouragement you’d like to share with the Crep Protect Family?
A: Stay true to yourself and keep letting your light shine.
