Undefeated and laser-focused, Khaleel Majid is deep in preparation mode with just over a week to go until fight night.

As he gears up to face David Ryan under the bright lights of Manchester’s Co-Op Arena, Khaleel’s dedication is clear: every training session, every round, every rep counts. We caught up with him ahead of the fight to see how he’s feeling before stepping back into the ring.
Crep Protect: Hey Khaleel, the last time we caught up, you were coming off an incredible win. How’s life been treating you since then?
Khaleel Majid: Life’s been good. I’ve stayed consistent in the gym, keeping myself ready and in shape for whatever’s next.
CP: You’re still undefeated with 15 wins on your record, which takes serious focus and grit. How do you keep that winning mentality locked in ahead of your next fight?
KM: I’ve got big goals I’m chasing in this sport, and keeping that vision front and centre helps me stay focused and motivated. It reminds me why I push myself every day, no matter what challenges come my way.

CP: Every opponent brings something different. Is there a specific part of your training camp you’re dialling in for this fight?
KM: To be honest, every camp is fully focused. I never underestimate anyone & make sure to stay sharp across all areas because anything can happen once you’re in that ring.
CP: You’ll be fighting in front of a massive crowd at Manchester’s Co-Op Arena. How do you channel that energy? Do the crowd fuel you or fade away once you step in the ring?
KM: The crowd definitely gives me a huge boost; that energy on fight night is unreal. But once the bell rings, my focus is completely on the opponent in front of me.
CP: Besides training, what helps you stay grounded and focused outside of the ring? Are there any daily rituals or routines that keep you balanced?
KM: Having structure in my day-to-day life keeps me grounded. I stick to a routine, stay active in the gym, and travel whenever I can. It helps me recharge and keeps everything balanced.
CP: You donated a percentage of your ticket sales to The Christie charity during your last fight; that’s incredible! What inspired you to give back in that way, and what does that cause mean to you personally?
KM: The Christie charity means a lot to me. They do amazing work supporting people through really tough times. They helped me and my family when we least expected it, so giving back is something I’ll always make a priority.

CP: You’re constantly on the move, from training sessions to press days. How do you keep your gear and kicks looking fresh in between it all?
KM: I always use Crep Protect wipes and spray; they’re my go-to for keeping my shoes looking clean and fresh.
CP: Thanks for the catch-up, Khaleel! Are there any words of encouragement that you would like to share with the Crep Protect family?
KM: Massive thanks to the Crep Protect family for backing me from day one, from grassroots to the bright lights. I’m always grateful for the support, and god willing, I’ll keep bringing those wins home.
