Mixing the world of manga and mules is next on the agenda for Croslite kingpins Crocs. Introduction:Crocs has teamed up with Yu-Gi-Oh! on a 4-piece collection that brings the whimsical charm of some of the franchise's most popular characters to life. Landing amid a wave of anime-inspired footwear releases this year, including the Nike x One Piece collection and adidas celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, the Yu-Gi-Oh! collection serves nostalgia from its core, allowing you to step out or lounge about in style. Design Details:The first Classic Clog takes design nods from Yami Yugi, summoned in a stealthy purple colour scheme, with faded hieroglyphics printed throughout.Yami Yugi’s signature Millennium Puzzle necklace decorates the upper; the signature backstrap also comes with a fastening feature, so you can give main character energy in sports mode. The Seto Kaiba Classic Clog opts for a similar setup, but swaps the purple for a gloomier grey palette, reminiscent of his anti-hero status. For the remaining two pairs of the collaboration, Crocs shift their attention to the Echo Clog for the ultimate monster makeover.The ‘Dark Magician’ iteration offers a dark purple setup, with a hieroglyphic-coded strap cover for added personalisation. Now, that racing DNA is getting another high-octane makeover.Design Details:The upcoming Air Jordan 14 ‘Blue Ferrari’ is expected to switch lanes from the fiery look of its predecessors, dressing the streamlined silhouette predominantly in blue suede. Yellow accents are anticipated across the Ferrari-inspired shield, tongue and branding, creating a sharp contrast against the cooler upper.Black detailing is then expected to cover the tongue, laces, lining, midsole and carbon fibre sections, while a silver midfoot shank plate adds another automotive-inspired finish. Pharrell Williams and adidas are giving the Adistar Jellyfish a darker makeover, with the eccentric silhouette set to return in a bold 'Dark Brown/Frozen Green' colourway this September.Design Details:First spotted on the feet of rapper Chief Keef, the upcoming release takes the Jellyfish somewhere noticeably moodier than some of its previous iterations. A deep brown base sets the tone across the upper, while cream and white elements add contrast before vibrant Frozen Green accents bring the heat.
