HOW TO CLEAN ADIDAS SAMBAS
With tired suede, scuffed midsoles, and accidental liquid spills, we know keeping your adidas Sambas fresh in any season can be a full-time job – but with Crep Protect, it doesn’t have be.Before you commit a serious suede crime by chucking your Sambas into the washing machine just for pure 'convenience', it’s actually doing more harm than good. That’s why we’re here to cross the T’s and dot the I’s in Samba sneaker care, guiding you through the safest way to clean your adidas Sambas without damaging them. Give Them The Cure They NeedThe first step of turning your beaten Sambas into keepers is to invest in our Cure Travel Kit. What is the Cure Travel Kit? You may ask, well, we reckon it’s the solution to your dirty samba issues. Each Cure Travel kit contains a 100ml/3.50z cleaning solution, a premium cleaning brush, and a microfibre cloth, designed to remove the toughest dirt and stains. The kit is perfect for a deep clean of your entire collection, plus it works wonders on suede when used correctly. We’ll show you how, using the adidas Samba ‘USA Denim’ as an example.Step 1: Prep your dirty sambas and remove the laces before cleaning them. This is the best way to ensure that you can reach the nooks and crannies around the eyelets and eyestays of the sneakers.Step 2: Save Your SambasOpen your Cure Travel Kit and select the brush to dip into a bowl of warm water. When it comes to removing deep stains on your Sambas, using warm water is the best way to loosen them, making the cleaning process easier to tackle. Then apply around 3-4 drops of Cure solution to the brush. As these Sambas are a mixture of denim and suede, which are highly porous fabrics, they are prone to damage if oversaturated. We recommend shaking off any excess water into the bowl to wring out some of the moisture before working the solution into the sneaker.Once the brush is slightly damp, work the brush onto the sneakers in circular motions. The solution will foam up; this will be an indication that the solution is effectively removing dirt. Start with a gentle scrub on the uppers and work your way down to the midsole and outsoles. Use the Microfibre cloth in between scrubbing to remove excess dirt. Cleaning The Laces:To clean the laces of your Sambas, start by refreshing the bowl of water and adding a few drops (5-10) of Cure solution to the bowl. Drop your laces in the bowl and use the palm of your hands to wring out all the dirt. Dip the laces back into the water and repeat until all the dirt has been removed. Once your Sambas have been Cure cleaned, allow them to dry overnight in a cool, well-ventilated room. Step 3: Save Your Samba’s SuedeNow they are fully dried; it’s time to get the suede under control. Start with our Scuff Eraser to remove any marks, scuffs, and uneven patches on your suede. How To Use The Crep Eraser:Use the corner of the Eraser to gently rub the affected area of the suede in a continuous motion. Repeat the process for tough stains and scuffs until desired results are achieved. For the best results, apply no more than medium pressure to your suede, as you don’t want to remove too many of the fibres, just the ones that appear dull in colour. Upbeat Your Samba Heat With Suede ReviverFinish off by bringing your suede back to life with the Suede Reviver. Designed to restore and enhance suede and nubuck sneakers, it’s the best way to reset the suede nap of your adidas Sambas, making them feel brand new. Here’s how you do it:1. Brush the suede with the built-in brush included2. Spray the solution evenly on the affected area and allow the sneaker to rest for a minute3. Rework the suede with the brush to reset the nap.Top Tip: As suede includes two different brush types in one, we recommend that you use the softer bristles for finer suede and the harder bristles for tougher and coarser suede.Find out how to restore your suede sneakers here The Final TouchesNow your adidas Sambas look as good as new from the outside; it’s time to keep them fresh from the inside. Here’s when Crep Protect Deo steps in. Our odour-busting deodoriser offers up to 24 hours of freshness and delivers an invigorating scent with every use. Here’s how it works:Shake the can before use and then position the nozzle into your sneakers. Push down on the can to release the fragrance in a bi-directional motion, so that it reaches the heel and foot of your sneakers. Release after 5 seconds and enjoy freshness that lasts. FAQsCan you put adidas Sambas in the washing machine? No. While it might seem like the quickest option, putting your adidas Sambas in the washing machine can do more harm than good. The combination of water, heat and spinning can damage suede, weaken adhesives, and affect the shape of your sneakers. Instead, clean them by hand using the Crep Protect Cure Travel Kit for a safer, more effective clean. Can you clean suede Sambas with water?Yes, but only in small amounts. When cleaning suede Sambas, it's important not to oversaturate the material. Use a slightly damp brush with a few drops of Crep Protect Cure solution to gently lift dirt and stains, then allow the sneakers to air dry naturally. Once dry, use the Crep Protect Eraser and Suede Reviver to restore the suede's texture and finish. How often should you clean adidas Sambas? It depends on how often you wear them, but giving your adidas Sambas a light clean every few weeks can help prevent dirt from building up. If you wear them daily or in wet or muddy conditions, you may need to clean them more frequently. Regular maintenance helps keep suede looking fresh and extends the life of your sneakers. What's the best cleaner for adidas Sambas?A dedicated sneaker cleaner is the safest choice. The Crep Protect Cure Travel Kit is designed to clean a range of materials, including suede, when used correctly. It includes a premium cleaning solution, brush, and microfibre cloth to help remove dirt and stains without compromising your Sambas. How do you restore faded Samba suede?Once your Sambas are clean and completely dry, use the Crep Protect Eraser to remove scuffs and dull patches from the suede. Then apply Crep Protect Suede Reviver using the built-in brush to restore the suede nap and revive the material's appearance. This helps bring faded suede back to life and leaves your Sambas looking refreshed. For extra sneaker care tips and tricks, click here
AIR JORDAN 14 'LAST SHOT' MAKES A COMEBACK IN 2027
Some sneakers are remembered for their colourway. Others are remembered for the moment they created. The Air Jordan 14 'Last Shot' belongs firmly in the second category.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker FilesIntroduction:Jordan Brand is bringing one of the most legendary Air Jordans of all time back for Summer 2027, giving sneakerheads another chance to own a piece of basketball history. First released in 1999 and last seen in 2018, the iconic black-and-red silhouette is set to return in full family sizing with a retail price of $215 for adult pairs. The nickname 'Last Shot' comes from arguably the greatest moment in Michael Jordan's career. During Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, Jordan laced up the Air Jordan 14 before hitting the unforgettable game-winning jumper over Bryon Russell with just 5.2 seconds remaining. The shot sealed the Chicago Bulls' sixth NBA Championship and, at the time, was believed to be the final basket of Jordan's NBA career. While he would later return with the Washington Wizards, the name and the legacy stuck forever.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker FilesDesign Details:Inspired by Michael Jordan's love of Ferrari sports cars, the Air Jordan 14 remains one of the sleekest performance models ever designed. The 2027 retro is expected to stay true to the original, featuring premium black ribbed leather across the upper, 'Varsity Red' detailing on the midsole, outsole and Jumpman branding, alongside the signature yellow Ferrari-style shield logo on the lateral collar and metallic eyelets.Release Info:The 'Last Shot' has only returned a handful of times since its debut, with retros arriving in 2005, 2011, and 2018. That rarity has only added to its status, making the 2027 release one of Jordan Brand's most anticipated launches.Whether you're reliving one of basketball's defining moments or adding a true icon to your rotation, the Air Jordan 14 'Last Shot' deserves a place on every sneakerhead's radar.Release information is based on early reports from Sneaker Files and @zsneakerheadz, with official launch details expected from Jordan Brand closer to the release. In other Crep Daily news, Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise' Brings Tropical Energy to Summer 2026
SUMMER SNEAKER CARE MYTHS DEBUNKED
When it comes to sneaker care, we know that sometimes it's hard to decide what is best to keep your sneakers in top form this summertime. That’s why we are here to debunk the facts from the fiction, so your sneakers can stand the test of time. Myth 1: Leaving My Sneakers Out In The Sun Is The Best Way To Dry ThemMore heat = sneaker defeat, and no one wants their footwear looking like shrivelled prunes. Always keep your sneakers in a well-ventilated area after cleaning them, as they are prone to cracking, discolouration, and adhesive loosening. Use Cure solution as your starting point for your deep cleans to remove dirt and stains effectively, then let them air dry in a cool room away from the sun for box-fresh results. Myth 2: Cleaning Sneakers After Your Holiday Will Be More ConvenientLiquids, food, beach days, or walking around muddy fields, they also cause stains on your sneakers, and the longer you let the stains seep in, the harder they become to clean. That’s where our Starter Pack comes in handy. A quick foam, wipe, and spray, and your sneakers will look fresh every time. No water needed, just instant results. Myth 3: One pair of Sneakers Is All I need For The Whole Of Summer We know that one pair may fit many occasions; however, you should rotate your sneakers weekly so that it reduces their wear and tear over time. While they’re taking a well-deserved rest, keep them stored correctly with our Crep Protect Crates. They’re UV-protected, stackable and fit up to size 13 sneakers.Find out how to keep your white shoes clean and fresh here
AIR JORDAN 4 'BIRDS OF PARADISE' BRINGS TROPICAL ENERGY TO SUMMER 2026
Jordan Brand is embracing the colours of summer with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise', a women's exclusive that blends classic basketball heritage with vibrant seasonal styling. Scheduled to release on July 23, 2026, the latest Air Jordan 4 proves that subtle design can still make a bold statement.Design Details:At first glance, the sneaker keeps things clean with a premium Coconut Milk pebbled leather upper, complemented by a soft suede mudguard that adds depth and texture. Semi-translucent TPU wings and eyestays modernise the iconic silhouette, while understated Metallic Gold Jumpman branding on the heel introduces a premium finishing touch without overpowering the design. While the upper leans towards neutral tones, the real personality of the sneaker is revealed beneath your feet, inspired by the vibrant Birds of Paradise flower; the outsole bursts with energetic 'Bright Mango' and 'Sundial' hues, contrasted by deep navy sections that echo the exotic flower's striking appearance. It's a clever twist that keeps the iconic Air Jordan 4 looking refined from above while delivering an unexpected splash of colour with every step.Adding to the storytelling, Jordan Brand has included special-edition packaging decorated with tropical floral artwork, creating a complete presentation that celebrates the shoe's botanical inspiration. Named after the South African flower famous for resembling a bird in flight, the theme offers a refreshing direction for one of the brand's most beloved silhouettes.Originally surrounded by beige-heavy mock-ups, official images have revealed a far more dynamic execution, winning over many sneaker fans who were waiting to see the final product. The combination of premium materials, carefully balanced colour blocking, and thoughtful detailing makes the 'Birds of Paradise' one of the standout women's releases of the year.Final Words:Priced at $220 USD, the Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise' is expected to be one of Summer 2026's most sought-after launches, delivering a perfect balance of timeless Jordan DNA and contemporary style.Next up on Crep Daily: Care Bears x adidas Collection Releases July 1st
